Position Overview:
S/he should design, develop, coordinate and implement the various broadcast strategies based on local context and culture and available network such as cable TV, Radio, Community Radio, Mobile Applications based presentations and Newspaper. S/he should coordinate various cable TV / Radio / Community Radio and Newspaper networks, video / audio programme production units, design units based on advisories provided by RF IS programme content team. S/he should be able to dynamically optimize the technology platforms, handling various visual editing tools, coordinate video and audio scripts for various thematic advisories and programmes.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- To coordinate, produce, standardize and streamline the rural communities’ advisories dissemination presentations (eg. Live programmes, Design the Bulletins, Scrolls, Mobile based advisories dissemination, print media presentations)
- To coordinate and support design various promotional materials such as posters, pamphlets, programme booklets, question and answers booklets, videos and audios
- To develop Standard Operating Procedures for advisories dissemination through various communication media and maintain the uniform standard in all the programme locations
- To keep the repository of programme related videos and audios
- To support based on requirements and critical times
- To learn team expectations and develop supportive programme strategies
Educational Qualifications and Experience:
- Post Graduate Degree in Development Communication / Visual Communication / Development Journalism
- Minimum of 3+ years of Development Sector field experience
- Experience of coordination and production of audio and video programmes
- Experience of coordination of local cable TVs, Radio Stations (including Community Radio Stations) and newspaper networks added advantage
Key Competencies:
- Good knowledge on video and audio related software’s
- Good knowledge on video and audio production programmes
- Event / Programme / Exhibition / Mela Planning and Management skills
- Equal comfort of working with different stakeholders – grassroots, government departments, research institutions, universities, NGOs
- Comfortable with Laptop / Android Mobile / Daily Documentation / Virtual Office Environment
- Ability to be highly organized in order to manage and prioritise workload and take decisions dynamically
- Good development issues analytical skill and overcome the problems with solutions
