Reliance Foundation is proud to associate itself with events that widen the global focus on India as a nation of rich talent, culture and artistry.

It is the lead sponsor of The Elephanta Festival. It was an annual festival, which was held between March 2 and 3, 2013 at the Elephanta Island. This event is a celebration of the art found in India in forms like dance, art and sculpture. Like every year, this year too, it witnessed an impressive line-up of renowned classical artists from all over India. The festival commenced with the rendition of Saraswati Vandana by Shweta Pandit, which was later followed by a classical dance performance by Parvathy Dutta. This was complemented by a performance of Vaishnamo by five famous classical musicians. Artists like Pt. Prabhaka Karekar, Manjari Chaturvedi and Ranjit Barot mesmerised the audience with their performances. On the whole, the event received a footfall of more than 2000 people.
